San Michele amarcord

The feast of San Michele is by far the liveliest initiative in Carmignano. It is a festival unique for its kind: street theater, among the people and with the people. A race between four districts, with carts that become incredible sets, costumes that unroll, ballets, plays rehearsed and special effects. Maybe a thousand people in the streets, others behind the scenes. A real choral show, with different stories every year: one for each district, half an hour each.

In this section we tell some stories and anecdotes, told by the protagonists themselves, a party that in 2012 celebrated its eightieth anniversary.
