The members of the wine route are part of the Medici Wine Route of Carmignano, an association founded in July 1998.
Members include Artimino SpA (hoteliers and owners of the estate), “The Gyrfalcon” travel agency of Prato, the “Pratesi” farm estate, the “Da Delfina” restaurant, “Il Poggiolo” farm, the “Castelvecchio” farm, the famous bakery “I’ ‘Fochi” of Giovanni Bellini, the Poggese farm “La Palagina”, “la Tenuta di Capezzana” farm, the “Le Farnete” farm, the Cantagallo Estate of Enrico Pierazzuoli, Massimo Machiavelli purveyor of leather goods, the “Fattoria del Vento” farm, osteria and enoteca “Su pe’ i’ canto”, the CAP of Prato, the restaurant “Fontemorana Due”, the farm Rigoccioli , the Bacchereto farm and of course the Pro Loco of Carmignano which was one of the first promoters of the association. The current chairman of the board of directors of the Medici Wine Route of Carmignano is Alessandro Cocci, owner of the estate and of “La Borriana”, an osteria and agritourismo. The three previous presidents were Ugo Contini Bonacossi, owner of Capezzana; Giorgio Segantini, administrator of Artimino SpA; and Doriano Cirri, deputy mayor and councillor for tourism at the time.
